Big Boys Toys at Pacific Marine Base – Brisbane today. Universal Cranes lifted a 30m x 8m 30t work platform onto a barge for transport up to Brisbane CBD. Safe work and great job to everyone involved.

SL Cook berthed today for a 3 day stopover on its way to warmer waters. The vessel is still looking sharp after its refit in 2019 by Pacific Fleet Engineering.

What a beautiful morning to welcome Riverside Resolute for the her first time to Pacific Marine Base – Brisbane for bunkers. The mighty 79m single screw hopper dredger had no troubles berthing alongside and the crew were very happy with the wharf facilities and service.
Loaded and lashed faster than expected, the Kiwai Chief departed today without a hitch. A great team effort from all involved helped make the experience carefree, and after a frosty weekend in Brisbane, the PNG crew are looking forward to warmer weather in Nauru.
RORO and LOLO meets Pacific Marine Base – Brisbane (PMB). Last night we welcomed the 64m Multipurpose LCT, Kiwai Chief, at PMB from Papua New Guinea. There are six heavy equipment items as well as containers all heading to the tiny island of Nauru.
